Simple Plan is made up of five guyz all from Montreal, Quebec. All members
of Simple Plan, except David, had went to high school together - so they were pretty much togetha from the start.
The story seems to start when Pierre Bouvier (lead singer) and Chuck
Comeau (drummer) were mates in a band called Reset; but after they made one CD called "No Worries", Chuck left the
band to focus on school n his studies (that'z my boi!!). Pierre and
the rest of the band went on to make one more CD called "No Limits", then Pierre then also left Reset.
After a while, Chuck missed playing in the band so he and his friends from
high school, Sebastien Lefebvre (guiatarist) and Jeff Stinco (lead guitarist) started a band called SIMPLE PLAN. Obviously
it was incomplete - they still needed a bassist and a lead singer (oOoh two guesses who they are).
Chuck caught up with Pierre at a Sugar Ray Concert and said
he had this otha starting band that needed a bassist and lead singer; so Pierre went to hear them play and liked what
he heard and saw, n was soon added as lead signer and bassist. Afta a bit, Pierre decided he wanted to be able to
jump around and get close to the crowd, so they needed a bassist to take ova.
They met up with their old band Reset where they saw David - who took over
Pierre's duties in Reset (as lead singer and basist) and they asked him to join Simple Plan as bassist and backing vocals.
Afta no time at all, David agreed to be bassist.
Simple Plan was then complete *sniff* so good. Chuck and Pierre co-own
a brand called Role Model Clothing, therefore that'z all they wear. Eva. It suitz them GREAT n it'z jus so kool. They also
wear a lot of Atticus, Man Of The Hour and Hell n Heaven clothing. Pierre has a few Hustler hats too lolz.
Patrick Cunningham is what I like to call an 'Unofficial
Simple Plan member" - he handlez the SimplePlan website, their merchandise, and he is also the band's best friend. Watch the
DVD n u'll see he goez EVERYWHERE with them.
